Slow week

This week in the the candy making business was real slow for us, it was the slowest week I have ever experienced in the candy store since I been working in there. This weekend we had to fill our orders that people have made for us to make and we also had to make for the store.
Friday we made our delicious Carmel fudge log rolls. These are made out of carmel and pecan nuts and roll into what looks like a log.
Saturday we made peanut brittle. Half was for an ordered that we had to finish. The other half was for  our peanut brittle toffee. Which is mostly peanut brittle deep in chocolate. It is very delicious.
Sunday we made peppermint lollipops and candy canes and sticks and had a lot of fun. We hardly had anyone come into the store. The weather makes a big difference when people what to get out or stay at home.
But it still is fun working at the candy store getting to tell people all about the different candies and how it has change over the years
